I see beauty everyday in ordinary places that escape the mind not in the moment.

I enjoy experimentation, working with multiple layers of photographic images on aluminum panels and acrylic to create a mixed media image that celebrates the simplicity of everyday.  My emotions and thoughts are transmitted by sweeping colors and a play on light. In the work there is photo realism, mixed with fantasy of light and paint, a metallic sheen or an image screening a translucent sheet of plastic. The finished work offers a dream like image that allows the viewer to personalize the image…. or “catch” the moment.

My work quietly yells...There is magic everywhere ....stop...and just look around.
